Variable transformation will change the shape, that is the whole point of performing a transformation. changing the scale or multiplying/ dividing by a constant would not change the shape.

Could you specify under which section it says the transformation does not change the shape? because I checked the “what are common methods of variable transformation” section and there it is mentioned:

Logarithm: Log of a variable is a common transformation method used to change the shape of distribution of the variable on a distribution plot

So can I conclude as follows: " variable transformation to change the scale of variable doesn’t change the shape of distribution, log will change the shape.depending on the requirements we use different variable transformation"
