Beginner : Learning Cloudera Data Science certification : Would like to Install Cloudera Data Science toolkit without VM on Ubuntu OS

Hi Guys,
Would be great if you can show me the right path to the question above. Please suggest even if it’s totally irrelevant.
Firstly, I would like to convey that I am really interested in the way Clouderas Data Scientist certification is mapped and planned.
Before diving into the actual course I have actually spent and learnt lot of basics Data Science courses from Coursera and Edx websites.
Now I really want go down the path Clouderas certification path suggests. So I will need some help in setting up my environment. Any help or suggestion would be great.
Basically I have a old 2007 Dell laptop 3gb ram and 500gb hard disc.
I have window 7 on it. And installed the virtual box in order to learn and practise the Clouderas datascience toolbox.
It was so damn slow that I had given up practising on it.
Later I installed Pure Ubuntu as dual partition and Ubuntu runs smooth as a jiffy.
Can anyone please suggest what all are included in Clouderas data science tool kit so that I can install manually and start practicing.
It would be great also even if Cloudera Data Science certification is the right path.
I am a self learner and really enthusiastic about data science. Myself am a Tech Manager in Analytics wrt banking and finance sector.
Would be really awesome if anybody did this kind of total manual installation on Ubuntu for Cloudera Datascience toolkit.
Another path or manual installation instructions to learn big data from data science perspective is also welcome.
Thanks for all the help.

Thanks,
Dilip M

@dilipm1, I would suggest you to ask this in Cloudera official forums, as they would be in a better place to help you. http://community.cloudera.com/
