Hi,

Let’s understand it using example:-

I have created a sales dashboard and there is a tab for front line managers, here I want to show chart containing information about the total sales for managers who have done sales in last year also . In this case, we would require list of names or ECODEs of managers those have done sales in last year. Here Function P() helps.

P( ) = Possible
E( ) = Excluded

FM = p({<Year={$(=max(Year)-1)}>} FM)
=sum({<Year={$(=Max(Year))},FM=P({<Year={$(=max(Year)-1)}>}FM)>}Sale)

Returns sales of managers who had sales last year.

Similarly, we can exclude managers who had sales last year using function E().

Hope this helps!

Regards,
Sunil
