I am currently studying about unsupervised machine learning algorithms like
1-SVM
2- decision tree

In SVM we could perform non-linear classification using kernel method .I want to know how decision tree performs non-linear classification .As there is no special kernel like argument in it.

Decision tree - Decision Trees divide the feature space into axis-parallel rectangles and label each rectangle
with one of the K classes. It is basically used for non-linear classification.

Hope this helps!

Hello,

I just wanted to know if the non-linear classification would help in the reduction of the search bias or the language bias?

Hi

first tree algorithm have a bias, but the search bias dependents of the training you will do and specially the feature engineering and selection you will conduct on the training data set.
