Need Data Source and Social media data

Hi Folks,

I have to begin a project for which i am exploring domains. I am in need of some good source from where i can get raw data to work on and can build my project. My area of interest are financial, marketing, retail, text mining.

Also how to get twitter data or if anybody has it could me please share it.

Hi,

For financial data you can look at quandl.com. It has his own api and you can pull using R or python.

Hi @Shubham26,

You can use the twitter API to extract data from twitter. Though I haven’t myself used it, but have seen many people extract data on particular hashtags using the API.

You can use UCI machine learning repository
