Hi Sarthak,

Here I am trying to articulate for you

  1. Go to the https://apps.twitter.com Page and Login with your account .

  2. Go to Mange your Apps (Located down-right corner)

  3. Open that and Create New App on required name ,Twitter automatically generate the Application Settings

  4. Using the Settings and following code Create the Authentication ,so that you can able to fetch the tweets

    library(RCurl)
    require(twitteR)
    library(ROAuth)

    reqURL <- “https://api.twitter.com/oauth/request_token

    accessURL <- “https://api.twitter.com/oauth/access_token

    authURL <- “https://api.twitter.com/oauth/authorize

    consumerKey <- “xxxx”

    consumerSecret <- “XXXX”

    twitCred <- OAuthFactory$new(consumerKey=consumerKey ,
    consumerSecret=consumerSecret,
    requestURL=reqURL,
    accessURL=accessURL,
    authURL=authURL
    )
    twitCred$handshake()

    access_token = "XXXX"
    access_token_secret = “XXXXX”

    setup_twitter_oauth(consumerKey ,consumerSecret,access_token,
    access_token_secret)

After This Step twitCred$handshake()

It redirects Page to twitter dev account generate code for session that code has to mentioned in the R console .

Followed by setup_twitter_oauth.

Once authentication process successful, you go through the above link and practice it
what @shuvayan is mentioned .

Hope this helpful

Thanks & Regards
Raghavendra

One year ago I made this tutorial on Sentiment Analysis; Here are the slides: http://www.slideshare.net/faigg/tutotial-of-sentiment-analysis

In the slides there is also a link to a GitHub project with some code.
