What is SAS DI? How is it different from SAS E-miner , SAS University Edition etc?
SAS DI (or Data Integration) is SAS’s way to build, integrate and manage several data sources irrespective of the data type. This product is typically used for running ETL process on SAS from several data sources - so you basically take data from multiple sources, integrate it is SAS DI and store it as metadata.
The other SAS products (Like SAS E-Miner / Enterprise Guide) then pick up this data from metadata and build models over and above these.
Hope this solves the questions.
